SILK & SOY CAFÉ
We like to think that Silk & Soy is a place to relax and enjoy a your favourite beverage with a tasty cake or light lunch. Often we will also have other lunch options such as pies or pasta dishes. Our Instagram (@silkandsoy) will show current offerings. Lunch is served all day or until we run out of those freshly baked rolls.
シルクアンドソイは、お気に入りのドリンクを片手に、美味しいケーキやランチをゆっくりとお楽しみいただける場所でありたいと思っています。パイやパスタなど、ランチスペシャルも週替わりでご用意しております。最新のメニューは、Instagram（@silkandsoy）でご覧いただけます。ランチは終日、または焼きたてのロールパンがなくなるまでご提供しております。
The café was built in the Doma or workshop of the main house. We started the renovation of the house in September 2023 and finished the café space about a year later with it opening in October 2024. Throughout the renovation of the house we have strived to retain as many of the original features as possible and in the café that meant the amazing wood ceiling and beams. The sideboards that make up the coffee bar were found in a part of the house that no one had been in for decades. After a lot of cleaning and the addition of a bar top made from timbers also found in the house, we have a coffee bar that connects to the history of the building.
カフェは母屋の土間、つまり作業場に建てられました。2023年9月に家の改修工事を開始し、約1年後にカフェスペースを完成させ、2024年10月にオープンしました。家の改修工事の間、私たちはできる限り多くのオリジナルの特徴を残すよう努めており、カフェでは素晴らしい木製の天井と梁が残されました。コーヒーバーを構成するサイドボードは、何十年も誰も入っていない家の一部で見つかり、何度も掃除をして、同じく家にあった木材で作ったバートップを追加することで、建物の歴史とつながるコーヒーバーが完成しました。
Silk & Soy has mixed seating for one to four guests, but can accommodate larger groups with some notice. We love having families visit and there are toys and books to keep our younger visitors entertained.
シルクアンドソイ には、1名様から4名様までご利用いただける混合席をご用意しておりますが、事前にご連絡いただければ、大人数のグループにも対応可能です。ご家族連れのご来店も大歓迎です。小さなお子様連れのお客様にも楽しんでいただけるよう、おもちゃや本をご用意しております。
We also have hosted clubs and parties from 6 to 20 people with advanced bookings, catering for meals, cakes and drinks. We primarily serve coffee and tea, but are licensed to serve alcohol for parties or people staying in the guest house.
事前予約をいただければ、6名様から20名様までのクラブやパーティーも承っております。お食事、ケーキ、ドリンクのケータリングも承っております。主にコーヒーと紅茶をご提供しておりますが、パーティーやゲストハウスにご宿泊のお客様にはアルコール飲料の提供も出来ます。
